Online Science Classes with Stephanie
I have been teaching private science online to students in grades 2 to 7 for many years. Most of my experience has been teaching non-native English speakers.
My main teaching philosophy is to encourage the students to ask lots of questions. This is not just to ensure they understand the material, but to nurture their natural sense of curiosity! You can read more about my teaching philosophy by following these links:

How long are the science classes?
I generally recommend 45-minute classes for grades 2 to 4 and 60-minute classes for grades 5 to 7, but this can be flexible according to your child's needs and availability. Classes are held once a week.
How much do the classes cost?
I offer a free 30-minute demo class. In this time, I will evaluate your child’s level. I don't always teach the content of the student's grade level; I teach according to their individual abilities and needs.
Classes are sold in packs of four.
Length | Price for 4 classes | Price per class |
---|---|---|
45 minutes | 160 USD | 40 USD |
60 minutes | 200 USD | 50 USD |
If your child has a partner, they may do the class in pairs and the price will be halved. I do not teach classes with more than two students.
What platform is used?
Classes are generally held on VooV, but other platforms are possible upon request.

How long does it take to complete one grade level?
This varies greatly depending on the grade level and your child's needs. Generally speaking, it takes somewhere between 5 and 10 months, but I like to keep this flexible so that I can accommodate each child and have the opportunity to explore all the questions they may have!
